Prayer requests for this week

In addition to the things that Mark has mentioned in the past few posts, a couple of things have come up since Abby has been admitted that would be great to pray for.
- her hemoglobin needs to stay above eight or she will need a transfusion which would delay the bone marrow transplant by a day. Her hemoglobin is 10 right now but things are dropping pretty quickly.
-she has mouth sores in her throat which make it hard to swallow even her own saliva and little things like burps and hiccups are very painful.
-there are a lot of things she's not allowed to eat now and she's having a hard time with that. She's been really nauseous and throwing up a lot but when she is feeling a little better there are certain things she wants and some of them she can't have.

My heart goes out to Abby...the side affects of everything just keep coming-how exhausting it all must be. The Lord spoke this to a very weary Jeremiah, "For I satisfy the weary ones and refresh everyone who languishes.” Praying for miraculous refreshment for her and you all.

Tiffany, this "just happened" to be part of my morning bible reading:
Psalm 20:1-5
May the Lord answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion.
May he remember all your sacrifices and accept your burn offerings.
May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God.
May the Lord grant all your requests.

My heart goes out to you, too, Abby. Praying that there will be some relief and comfort for you and that God will pour out His grace for you to stay strong and endure through these trying days. God is with you and so are my prayers!

Abby, you and your family have been and are in my prayers every day. I believe God gives us the grace for each day. Don't worry about tomorrow because there will be more grace coming then. You can do this, and there are many people across the world holding you in their thoughts and prayers. Remember, you are the victor!! Sending you strength and caring, Karolee Kent (ASIJ).

Hey, Abby. I've been following your battle for quite a while now, for two reasons really. First, because your Dad was a student of mine when he was in high school. Can you imagine? I'll bet you're much like him, smart and full of fun energy. But second, I've been keeping an eye on you all the way from the Big Island of Hawaii simply because you inspire me. I love strong young women. They are simply my FAVORITE people on the planet! Your Dad has asked for prayer. There are a lot of ways in which people pray. My prayers are combos of big squishy Mom hugs mixed with a favorite song. Throw in some cat and dog love, and imagine the fortitude of all the people I have ever loved, and I bundle that up and send it to you. And that prayer smells like chocolate chip cookies baking. In other words, my dear, wrap yourself in all the love of family and you are going to find health again. When love is sent to you from so many places, that's a lot of healing coalescing in one big Abby energy bundle. Stay strong, warrior. Hopefully one day we will meet and I can tell stories on your Dad and his classmates. Lots of love from Captain Cook, Hawaii. Cindy Powell

Prayers of healing in Jesus name over the sores in Abby`s mouth; you have no authority to stay so we command you to leave!

In addition, I'm not sure what she can / can't have, but when my aunt had mouth sores from her radiation we applied coconut oil to them & it helped sooth the pain (plus, coconut oil at least has a decent taste!)

Here's a link to other holistic ways to help with mouth sores that we used too:
